Selichot: Saturday night, September 9 @ The Ohel
9:30 PM
Tea, Treats, and Tehillim!
Take a deep dive with Cantor Jane Myers into that extra psalm we've been saying for the last month, Psalm 27 aka "L'David", as she leads a discussion on Fear and Trust in Psalm 27.
No prior knowledge of Hebrew is needed. Let's learn together while we enjoy tea and treats.
10:15 PM
Selichot
In keeping with Ashkenazi tradition, we recite selichot (special penitential prayers for the period of repentance leading up to and including the High Holidays) starting the Saturday night before Rosh Hashana. The service lasts approximately one hour.
